Autumn trip to Funen

Baggyfish aka Søren Okkels is planning the trip this autumn and the 23-25 october, we will be going to North Funen to get some prime trout spots under our belt.

We’ll be on Fyns Hoved and you can get a feel for the area here.

Accommodation is sorted with this fine place. It’s so close to the coast, we don’t have to worry about who does the driving - we can walk to at least 3 great spots. Also, the early risers - luckyworm - can get up and go when they want.

Søren’s been kind enough to scan some pages from a book he has on fishing in the area, so if you wanna be prepared, have a look here.(pdf-773kb)

Also, you can read an article on 5 interesting spots in the area here. (danish online version of fishing mag)

There’s a significant amount of information about the area on the great interweb, so google around and see what you might find.

I expect to be doing a fair bit of flyfishing if the weather permits and perhaps spending the first evening doing a bit of the old tying.

So if any of you hunters out there should happen to shoot a rabbit or some bird (excluding waterfowl), then please gather some good flymaterials to share with a poor soul:)
